The Abel SDF in Skull and Crossbones, 5/6 weight, takes the do-everything trout size and finishes it in Abel's bold skull and crossbones artwork on a solid (non-ported) frame. The matching skull and crossbones drag knob carries the design through, set off here with an aluminum black handle.
The SDF runs a sealed drag pulled straight from Abel's saltwater lineup, giving near-zero start-up inertia to protect light tippet on a dry-fly drift, with enough stopping power in reserve for a trout that wants to run.
