Lights out. The 491BK-02 takes the Lowden's clean flipper lines and drops them into an all-black finish — black Cerakote blade, black G10 scales, with Burnt Copper hardware peeking through for contrast.
CPM-S90V carries some of the highest vanadium content of any common blade steel, which is why it holds a working edge longer than nearly anything else in a folder this size. It's harder to bring back once it finally dulls, but you won't need to as often, and it's still fully stainless.
At 2.55 ounces and 6.81 inches open, the Lowden carries easy and deploys clean — the AXIS Lock flipper rides on bearings, so the blade snaps open with almost no resistance and locks up solid every time.
This is the Lowden for someone who wants their EDC blacked out top to bottom, with nothing on it but function.
