The Echo Gecko Panfish is a right-sized first fly rod for young and beginning anglers, tuned for the bluegill, crappie, and small trout that make fly fishing click for a new caster. This 7'9" 4-weight is light and lively so small hands can feel the rod load and build good casting habits from day one.

A forgiving medium-fast action smooths over rookie timing, and the short lower grip invites a second hand on the rod for extra leverage or an early introduction to two-handed casting. Bright, fun cosmetics make it a rod kids actually want to grab.
