Designed by world-champion caster Tim Rajeff, the Echo Trout X is built around one idea: a trout rod that loads and casts at any distance. Echo's Variable Sweet Spot (VSS) action gets progressively stiffer from tip to butt, so there's no single "sweet spot": short pocket-water flicks and long spring-creek reaches feel equally dialed. Light in hand with premium carbon fiber, the Trout X delivers delicate dry fly presentations, controlled nymph rigs, and enough backbone for streamers and wind.
Available in five models from a 7'6" 3-weight for small streams to a 9' 6-weight for big flies and big water: the 9' 5-weight is the do-it-all pick.
Features: Variable Sweet Spot (VSS) action, premium lightweight carbon fiber, four-piece construction, mist green gloss finish with chrome-plated snake guides, SIC stripper guides, extended half wells grip with burl wood reel seat. Lifetime Echo warranty.
