The Korkers flagship with traditional laces instead of a BOA dial — same Exo-Tec upper, same 9-inch height, same guide-caliber build, closed with a lace and locking cleat for a customized bi-zonal fit.
This package ships with Kling-On sticky rubber and felt soles — the two most useful opposites in the OmniTrax range.
Laces or BOA? Genuinely a preference. A BOA dial micro-adjusts one-handed and works in gloves. Laces let you tension the forefoot and ankle independently, cost nothing to replace in a pinch, and have no mechanism to fail. Plenty of guides deliberately choose laces. We stock the River Ops both ways — try them side by side.
The sole system is the real story. Felt grips slick, algae-covered rock better than any rubber, but it is the best-known carrier of whirling disease spores and didymo between drainages because it stays wet for days. Korkers is the one brand that lets you sidestep the dilemma: fish felt on your home water, then clip on the Kling-On rubber before you drive to another river. No tools — toe clips in, heel strap secured, step down.

Warranty: the River Ops is one of only two Korkers boots with the extended two-year Rock Solid Guarantee — the rest of the line is one year. Soles are covered too. Exclusion worth knowing: rust and corrosion damage, especially from saltwater, is not covered. Korkers publishes no country of manufacture.
Sizing: whole sizes only. Boots go over your wader booties, so figure about a full size up from your street shoe. Extra OmniTrax soles are sold separately, are unisex, and must match your boot size. Bring your waders by the shop and try a pair on — call 970-964-9991 and we will have them waiting.
