The Lamson Purist is built for technical dry-fly fishing, the kind that demands long leaders, tiny flies, and pinpoint accuracy over educated, hard-earned trout. Every choice in its design works to reduce upper-section weight, sharpening energy delivery, recovery, and feedback so you feel exactly what the rod and line are doing at the end of a delicate cast.

Light, spare hardware and a refined graphite blank give the Purist a classic, connected feel that finesse anglers chase. Choose the two-piece for the most nostalgic action, or the four-piece for that same character in a travel-friendly package that goes wherever the dry-fly bite leads.

Key features

Purpose-built for technical dry-fly presentations
Tuned for accuracy, finesse, long leaders, and small flies
Reduced upper-section weight for feel and quick recovery
Light, minimal hardware specification
Classic, nostalgic action and feedback
Offered in two-piece and travel-friendly four-piece builds

Chasing selective risers? Come feel the Purist at Ed's Fly Shop, 432 E Main St in Montrose, or order online and we'll get it to your home water.
