The Scott GT is the newest chapter in the storied G Series lineage, a fast, all-water rod that keeps the smooth, feedback-rich soul of its predecessors while shedding weight and adding pop. Lighter and sportier than the G rods that came before, the GT still delivers the progressive action, tremendous transmission of feel, and legendary tippet protection that have kept anglers loyal to this family for nearly 50 years.

Across its length and line-weight configurations, the GT is built to cover water, from technical trout presentations to bigger flies and windier days. New X-Core design produces the thinnest-walled blanks Scott has ever made, and a redesigned hollow internal ferrule up to 20% lighter flexes so seamlessly that these 4- and 5-piece rods feel almost one-piece. The payoff is a rod that telegraphs the subtlest strike or headshake straight to your hand.
